Under Construction

The state flower of Tennessee is the orange barrel. With "SmartFix" and I-40 construction ongoing (will this ever end), I'm always detouring to get to my destination. TDOT says that one day, all of downtown interstate will be re-routed during this major construction effort.

The highway department reminds me of the prophet Isaiah. He called out for a highway to be built in the desert (Isaiah 40:1-11). The second Sunday of Advent prepares us for this road on which the Messiah would come. Look around, we're under construction....in more ways than one. And the detours can make an eternal difference.

Bill,
Thanks for the message. We at Habitat have been under construction "in more ways than one" since you left. Well we are back building (without the CITY). We constructed 4 homes in the past five months. You are missed but your "CAN DO" spirit remains.
Hope this finds you, Kelly and Parker well. Have a wonderful holiday season.
Merry Christmas.
Blessings
